San Jacinto Christian Academy girls high school tennis team won the district championship at Bush Tennis Center in Midland, TX. Eight TAPPS schools participated in the tournament.

Katelyn Mader won the singles Championship 6-1, 7-5 over sister and teammate Renee Mader, who placed second.

Clara Nenstiel and Mercy Robertson took the silver in girls doubles, losing to Bradley and Brown of Lubbock Trinity Christian 6-4, 6-2.

Nichole Bartlett and Calynne Cordes won the backdraw with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Wicks and Cox of Lubbock Trinity Christian.

All six SJCA girls qualify for the TAPPS State Tournament in Waco on April 11-12.
