Third grade “dissected” eggs last week! They looked for the membranes, yoke, albumen, chalaza, and the air sac. They are learning about eggs because they are hatching baby chicks! They have had one early hatcher and the rest of the chickens are due any time now.
They are also watching caterpillar change into butterflies. In about a week we should have some two winged friends.
Spring is certainly in the air in 3rd grade! Drop by and check things out.
